My entry into Beauty Scissors Sharpening Began in July 2003. Since then I study The Art of Sharpening/Honing Convex Shears. I better my skills with 3 other Classes, 2 with Manufacture and a Sharpener of 30 years, my mentor. I also joined a group of Like minded sharpener’s the NBTSG. I am proud to hold several Certified Credentials of my trade.

I started working in the professional beauty industry in 1976 as a Distributor Sales Representative. Spending 28 Years with Davidson Beauty Supplies out of the DC area. My territory was/is The Delmarva Peninsula with a limited service ( by referral only) to parts of Annapolis and Wilmington. I got interested in the Sharpening Service while working the Mid-Atlantic Beauty Conference in Crystal City Va Hyatt Regency around 2002.
I trained with 3 different Companies and received Certification in CONVEX sharpening . . . I do the Sharpening at your salon. The honing system is identical to what you would get if you sent them back to the manufacture.
